Author of both short stories and award-winning novels, Kathy Carmichael is known for her synopsis and craft-of-writing seminars. In addition to judging local, regional and national writing contests, she's a multi-year contest judge for a well-respected national writing magazine.

The Book Prose staff is personally familiar with many facets of the publishing industry.  Some genres our staff is experienced in are short stories, the confessions market, romantic fiction, magazine articles, mystery fiction, women's fiction, romantic comedy and non-fiction. 

Book Prose does not currently work with the genres of erotica and romantica, nor do we critique pornography.
